Naypyitaw Trip

Naypyidaw is the capital city of Myanmar and testimony to the delusions and paranoia of the former military regime. Built completely from scratch this artificial city offers curious travelers a mix of gigantic avenues with more lanes than cars and lifeless monumental buildings, but although the aesthetic experience is debatable Nay Pyi Daw definitely makes for a very interesting stopover.
