Owned and run with passion by the Cumings family, Chiawa Camp is an intimate retreat by the banks of the Zambezi River in Lower Zambezi National Park. Whether you decide to sit by the camp fire under a canopy of mahogany trees or to have a meal on a boat in the middle of the river (weather permitting), you will be enchanted by the gorgeous views that meet the eye from practically every corner of the camp. Some of the luxury tents have views over the dry riverbed of Chowe floodplains, others overlook the scenic Zambezi River and one tent is perched above the river for a remote and exclusive safari feel. King size beds, double washbasins and a private verandah will ravish the discerning guests. You need not compromise your comfort in the least during your safari, as 24-hour electricity supply and hot running water are provided in your tent. And when you feel like relaxing with your favorite drink, all you need to do is head to the elevated viewing deck above the thatched lounge/bar area.
