Canyon Lodge

Canyon Lodge is located in Gondwana Canyon Park on the C37, only 20 km from the Fish River Canyon’s main lookout point. The 25 en-suite chalets are thatched and built from natural stone. Nestled against massive granite boulders, your accommodation will leave you in no doubt about having nature on your very doorstep. Linger at the restaurant and take a closer look at the carefully arranged decoration from the pioneering days of farming. Or just relax with a book on our terrace shaded by trees or at the swimming pool. There is a choice of activities available, which can all be booked direct at the lodge. In the Gondwana Canyon Park, recommended activities are any of the guided hikes, from short walks to longer 6km hikes in the morning or for sundowners, plus horseback excursions. Also available are nature drives to the Fish River Canyon lookout points and sundowner drives on the Gondwana Canyon Park. Scenic flights over the Fish River Canyon are also offered.
