Camp Kalahari, a return to the traditional safari style of the old explorers, is the ideal camp for those looking to experience comfort, style and adventure.
Makgadikgadi Salt Pans – one of the most important wetland sites in Africa – is host to San Camp, a traditional camp with awe-inspiring views of its surreal surroundings. Only six meru-style tents are spread across a large area, ensuring maximum privacy for all guests. These cream-colored tents feature simple yet elegant furniture, en suite bathrooms with toiletries, a bucket shower and a flush toilet. High beds allow for a magnificent view from the privacy or your tent. If you feel sociable, the main tent is a meeting point and also houses a long table with chairs surrounded by bookcases. There’s an interesting collection of tortoise shells, arrowheads and other artifacts on display.
