Borealis Basecamp is located 25 miles north of Fairbanks in Alaska. This upper mid-range camp offers accommodations nestled within the Alaskan wilderness. You can choose to stay in an Igloo or a Cube. The Igloos are made of fiberglass and come with spacious interiors and elegant furnishings. Clear, curved windows stretch 16 feet across each igloo roof, allowing you to watch the aurora borealis from the comfort of your bed. The newer Cubes have 10 feet tall floor-to-ceiling windows, providing views of the forest and the night sky. Both the Igloos and the Cubes have full bathrooms with showers. There’s also a Family Suite Cube with an ensuite sauna that can accommodate up to five people. Enjoy locally sourced dishes at Latitude 65, which is set in an Alaskan yurt.
