Kafue Safari

Kafue National Park is a magical wilderness offering excellent game viewing, bird watching and fishing opportunities. Although largely flat, the park has a diverse range of ecosystems including tropical rivers, forests and vast floodplains. In the north, the Lufupa and Lunga rivers wind through the park and you can encounter wallowing hippos, gliding crocodiles and thirsty elephants and bucks during boat ride. The spectacular and northern Busanga Plains are a vast and watery with seasonal floodplains only accessible from June to October. In the wet season, discover lions chasing red lechwe through water! Enjoy walking safaris, gentle boating and canoe trips, drives in open 4WD’s and night drives in search of leopards.
