Visit Zimbabwe’s second largest city! Located in the southwest of the country, Bulawayo is home to more than a million people. Visit Matobo National Park, only an hour away from the city, for the dramatic scenery. 22 kilometres to the west of Bulawayo lie the Kame Ruins – magnificent Late Iron Age ruins and now a Unesco World heritage Site. The land adjoining the site has been converted into the Mazwi Nature Reserve where you can walk, drive or picnic. The Chipangali Wildlife Orphanage nearby is a home for orphaned, sick or abandoned animals and you can see lions, leopards, black rhino and many other species here.
