Husafell with its fairytale setting is nestled within a valley in the Borgarfjordur region of West Iceland. Tucked between a river and a spectacular lava field, it serves as the gateway to Langjökull glacier. Once a popular venue for outdoor music festivals, this sprawling church, and farm estate is today dotted with vacation homes and campsites. Walking tours are a great way to explore the picturesque surroundings as are biking expeditions. Scenic waterfalls, tranquil ponds, and unique lava formations offer an array of photo opportunities.
