Situated on a private reserve on the northern edge of the Central Kalahari, Deception Valley Lodge provides a unique experience for all of its guests.
Tau Pan Camp, is situated within the renowned Central Kalahari Game Reserve and right on the edge of the beautiful Tau Pan. This ecologically considerate and classically styled safari camp commands stunning views of the permanent waterhole and endless Kalahari Desert horizon. Rest your head in one of eight custom made thatched desert rooms that have been built on raised wooden decks. The camp runs on solar power and boasts an impressive water treatment system. The main area consists of a dining room, lounge area, complete with plunge pool and sun loungers for you to unwind in. The viewing deck is fitted with a firepit so you can enjoy a relaxing and peaceful evening of stargazing even when temperatures drop. There’s also a library and curio shop.
