Set amongst the forests of Patagonia along the shores of the Rio de las Vueltas, the Refugio Lago Condor is a cozy timber wilderness lodge boasting unique views of Mt. Fitz Roy’s northern face. The eco-lodge has 8 wilderness cabins each with two beds, firewood stove and private deck to enjoy the forest scenery. One could akin the cabins to something in between camping and a hotel, with intimate contact with the peace of the surroundings. The lodge has a separate toilette block which offers very conformable showers and lavatories, hot water is of course always available. In addition, the main lodge has a large dining room, surrounded by the warmth of it’s beautiful timber. The property has mountain-bikes, canoes and kayaks available for those who wish to enjoy the outdoors, although some might to choose to stay by the fire-place with eyes fixed on the granite walls of Refugio Lago Condor!
