
Rhino Safari Camp is located on the shores of Lake Kariba, in the midst of Matusadona National Park, a secluded wilderness area, which is known to represent a protection zone for a small population of the endangered black rhino.
Each of the 6 double rooms located in Jesse bush along the lakefront. The rooms are built on raised wooden platforms with thatched roofs and reed walls that provide natural ventilation. The rooms have two single beds, wardrobe, sitting area and a small dresser. The en-suite bathroom is somewhat lower than with open-air shower, toilet and sink. The camp does not have 24 hrs. Electricity.
The camp is accessible from the Rokari runway in about 40 minutes by speedboat.
The upper area is the lounge area and another dining area, where tea, coffee and other drinks are available all day. Depending on the weather, dinner is served, the food under the stars in the boma.
The safaris are led by professional guides who will introduce you to the history and geography of this wilderness, and are happy to share their knowledge of the local animals, trees, plants and insects with you.
