Jaci’s Safari Lodge has seven thatched rooms with canvas walls and large tented windows.
Madikwe Safari Lodge is situated in the heart of the richly diverse, malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve and approximately 5 hours’ drive from Johannesburg and 2 hours from Gaborone, Botswana. The lodge offers exceptional game viewing, simple yet sophisticated accommodation, superlative service and unique regional cuisine. The three lodges, Lelapa, Dithaba and Kopano comprise of 20 suites in total and give guests a choice to stay together as a group of family and friends, or to have a more private bush experience as a couple. Lelapa which means family in the local dialect is exactly that. It has the spirit and comfort of being at a home and is the Lodge where guests of all ages are allowed to stay. Each suite features a sitting area, a bedroom with circular fireplace, a spacious dressing area with personal bar, an en suite bathroom with bath, indoor and outdoor shower and a private plunge pool. The rooms are organic in design and woven copper screens add intriguing detail. A covered outdoor living room offers beanbags and cushions on the floor for casual relaxation. The nearby boma is the setting for evocative starlit dinners. Exciting morning and afternoon/evening game-drives in 4×4 safari vehicles are offered, revealing the magic of Madikwe’s wilderness.
