The Rongai route starts from the northern side of Mount Kilimanjaro, close to the Kenyan border. Considered the easiest of the routes to reach the summit, it is a slow and steady climb allowing you to acclimatize at a steady rate. Stay in tents in a camp-style accommodation as you walk at your own pace over seven nights and eight days to reach the summit. Keep an eye out for wildlife in Amboseli National Park along the way. During the day, enjoy light lunches in scenic surroundings. After each day of hiking, look forward to some rest. Trained staff members are on hand to cater to your needs. Enjoy a hearty dinner and then get a good night’s sleep on comfortable mattresses inside sturdy mountain tents. Wake up refreshed in the mornings and fuel up with breakfast before you resume your hike. All meals are freshly prepared and served with cold beverages. The hike is not suitable for children below the age of 10 years.
