The 11 villas of North Island have been individually handcrafted by local craftsmen with wood, local stone, glass and thatched ‘alang alang’ roofs. Each self-contained villa is raised a metre off the ground to catch the cooling island breezes and comprises two bedrooms, with a luxuriously proportioned master bedroom and a second bedroom, a writing and changing room area with a huge en-suite bathroom, a large marble bath and an outside shower. Air-conditioning, overhead fans and fully retracting sliding windows provide a pampering environment for the enjoyment of the balmy ocean breezes.
Enjoy your meals in your villa or in the Island’s main dining area. A full butler service includes in-villa meals or delicious picnics on secluded beaches. The lodge has a library, a bar that joins the dining area and the lounge, dining area and the main 45 metre long pool that looks over the pool deck to the horizon of the sea creating breathtaking views.
Simply relax or enjoy wonderfully diverse activities on North Island including swimming, snorkelling, reef and wall scuba diving, massage and health therapy in the Spa or in the comfort of your private villa. If you are adventurous, you can also go on nature walks or birding, deep sea fishing, windsurfing, guided sea kayaking, hobie sailing, yacht charters, boating trips to explore neighboring islands and mountain biking.
