Pom Pom Camp is located within the heart of Okavango Delta, neighboring the magnificent Moremi Game Reserve. Its unusual name comes from the island on which it was built, right at the head of Xudum River. There are just nine luxury en suite safari tents, to ensure the fragile natural environment is taken care of and giving you an intimate bush experience. Constructed out of thatch and canvas, the camp exudes a traditional safari ambience. The main building houses the lounge, dining area, bar, swimming pool and gift shop, and there is a boma (outdoor enclosure) where you may eat meals. Enjoy a variety of safari activities, including game drives, nature walks, fishing and traditional mokoro (canoe) excursions. Be in seventh heaven with the rare and magnificent birdlife!
Management - felt a little more like it was a business than the other camps that seemed more passionate about their role/the experience/the wildlife etc

Accommodation good but lax management and a rude, bullying guide made it unpleasant for everyone

We had a prize of a guide in Max! He could go off road, so the game drives were beyond exciting! We loved this camp!! From the cooks to the housekeepers, to the managers, guides, trackers, etc., this was a terrific experience and we didn't want to leave!
