Kwihala Camp is a luxury mobile tented camp located within Ruaha National Park near the Mwagusi sand river, in southern Tanzania. Offering a high-level of luxury and comfort in this remote part of Tanzania, Kwihala is designed for travellers seeking to be as near wildlife as possible, while maintaining certain standards in their accommodation. The camp is composed of just six tents, all constructed out of sand coloured canvas, designed to blend into the natural environment and cause as little disturbance as possible to the surrounding flora and fauna. The main area consists of a large open-sided tent, facing a campfire, which is lit in the evenings for guests to enjoy a sun-downer in spectacular surroundings. Furniture at the camp is all elegant and lightweight. Designed by the well-known African designer, Jacquie Resley, the camp provides a simple yet elegant environment which blends in well with its natural habitat.
