Ruaha River Lodge has a stunning location overlooking the Great Ruaha River and blends into its natural surroundings which makes visitors feel like being a part of the wild. It seems to grow from every rocky outcrop and crevice in winding paths, linking clusters of fairly basic stone and thatch bandas. The lodge has been divided into two distinct areas and guests may require safari vehicle transfers to one of the vast central dining bandas. The dining bandas and bars are in elevated positions and offer panoramic views of the river. Accommodation is offered in twenty bandas with ensuite bathrooms built from local stone and thatch. From the seclusion of your veranda you can watch wild animals as they descend from the hills to quench their thirst and feed. Category: Classic Camp
