Mala Mala Main Camp offers 18 reed-covered rondavels that are equipped with an air-conditioner, telephone, mini bar, mini safe and tea/coffee making facility. Every room has two separate bathrooms and toilets. Most of the buildings have a view onto a riverbed or waterhole. Breakfast-and lunch buffets are served on the viewing deck of the main building, which also has a bar. Dinner is served in the boma or, during colder winter months, in the dining room. Your stay is on a full-board basis. Relax in the Buffalo Lounge, showcasing African art. A well-equipped safari shop, library and wine cellar are also part of the establishment. Observe wildlife from the open Landr Rover during your game drives. With a little luck, you may be able to spot lions, elephants and buffalos, as well as some of the ‘smaller’ varieties like impala, wildebeest and warthogs. After your bush excursions, cool off in the swimming pool, listen to nightly sounds of the bush and relax at the camp fire in the boma. The personal attendance, the comfort and tasteful decor will make your stay at Mala Mala an unforgettable one.
