Udzungwa Forest Tented Camp

The Udzungwa Forest Tented Camp (also called Hondo Hondo, due to the many hornbills inhabiting the forests) borders the stunning Udzungwa Mountains National Park. Set amongst lush rainforest, you will soon appreciate the camp’s amenities: ‘Canopy Bar’ is a great vantage point for watching hornbills and monkeys whilst the restaurant serves excellent food. The six rooms of this eco-considerate camp are comfortably equipped with eiderdown beds, locally-produced furniture produced crafted from coconut wood and an open air bathroom with vistas of surrounding forests. Solar panels provide hot water around the clock.
