Maramba River Lodge is located in Mosi oa Tunya National Park, right on the banks of the river that gives the lodge its name, and just 4 km from the majestic Victoria Falls. You can choose to stay in a variety of accommodation options, be it luxury en suite tents, or private thatched chalets that nestle under a canopy of shady mopane trees. With artistic handcrafted wrought-iron and wooden furniture, each tent has its own individual theme. Feast on an à la carte meal in the riverside restaurant and bar area, which also sports a wooden deck where you can watch a variety of wildlife up close, including elephants, kudus, hippos and birds. From the beautiful swimming pool you can witness the monkeying around of local primates as they jump from tree to tree!
Helpful to us for a medical problem, having a service they called to check my husbands eye. Major problem with MANY mosquitos our room but they could move us to another room. Inconvenient but problem solved.

Lots of mosquitoes during dawn and dusk!! During dinnertime it was kinda scary!
