Lumo Conservancy is located on the border of Tsavo West Park in Kenya. Founded by three rangers in 1997, the conservancy serves as a wildlife corridor for animals to move between the Tsavo Conservation Area in Kenya and the Mkomazi National Park in Tanzania. The landscape is mainly savanna, with Mount Kilimanjaro creating a majestic backdrop. It offers safaris, where you can see some of the most imposing animals that roam the African plains, such as buffalo, elephant, lion, cheetah and giraffe. Intrepid explorers can also enjoy a night game drive with an experienced guide. Children can take a guided nature walk to look for animal tracks. Visitors can stay at Lion’s Bluff Lodge, located at a height of 1,200ft above sea level, the highest point within the conservancy. The property looks out across miles and miles of savanna, making it the perfect place to savor a sundowner while watching the wildlife below.
