Private K'gari (Fraser Island) Tours

The UNESCO World Heritage listed K’gari (Fraser Island) is the world’s largest sand island, located off the Queensland coast in east Australia. The island has a 150 mile long coastline with clear sandy beaches and strikingly coloured cliffs, and is a popular spot for camping and exploration. Inland from the magnificent coast, you will find tall rainforests growing on sand dunes, and half the world’s perched freshwater dune lakes, all of which contribute to the uniqueness of the place. A number of spring-fed and freshwater lakes, and a natural jacuzzi with bubbling water called Champagne Pools offer sensational recreational spots for swimming. Explore the island’s notable sights in four wheel drive vehicles (all roads being made of soft sand), staying at beachside campsites or resorts along the way. Take in panoramic vistas from viewpoints such as Indian Head on the easternmost tip of the island, and the Cathedrals cliff.
