Cape Jervis Tours
Discover Cape Jervis, a fishing town and ferry point perched on the western tip of the Fleurieu Peninsula in Southern Australia. The Cape Jervis region was the home of Karuna Aboriginal people, before European settlers landed on its shores. In the early 19th century, Matthew Flinders named it after circumnavigating the mainland of Australia. With panoramic views across the Backstairs Passage, it’s best known as a gateway to Kangaroo Island. Between May and September, whale watching enthusiasts can witness the Blue Whale migrations in the surrounding waters. Set along the famous Heysen Trail, several bush parks and coastal walks add to the town’s hiking adventures.
