Mbali Mbali Mahale Lodge

Far removed from anywhere else in Tanzania, Mbali Mbali Mahale Lodge is set on the shores of Lake Tanganyika nestled into the forest with the Mahale Mountains as a backdrop. The camp features the main dining area which is designed like a boat shipwrecked at one end of the beach, and a lounge area with a small library. Swimming is possible at all times of the day in the lake with good snorkelling at one end of the beach. Accommodation is offered in ten luxury tented bandas with ensuite showers and toilets which are raised on wooden platforms and spaced out along the beach. Each banda has a large balcony overlooking the beach and lake from where guests can enjoy the beautiful sunsets of Mahale.
