The Zulu name AmaKhosi means ‘Place of the Kings’.
Set in the heart of Zululand, Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve is renowned for its white rhino conservation. Due to the park’s diverse plant life, a variety of mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians have made it their home, and you can easily spot the Big Five here. Over 200 kilometers of road provide you with ample opportunity to explore the reserve and view game from the comfort of your own vehicle. The reserve also offers guided bush walks and has several hiking trails. The viewing hides overlook pans and watering holes where you can see animals at close range.
