Borealis Basecamp is situated on a quiet ridgeline at a latitude of 65° in Alaska, roughly 25 miles north of Fairbanks. It is surrounded by 100 acres of pristine boreal forest and provides a complete immersion in the Alaskan wilderness. The basecamp’s location is ideal for viewing the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) because there is minimal light pollution. It is also a good place from which to explore the surrounding landscape, either on foot, by dog sled, or snow machine.
