Broome is a popular seaside resort town in Western Australia’s red-soil country of Kimberley. This pretty coastal town is overlooked by a spectacular landscape of creeks and bays teeming with marine life, emerald mangroves, and mudflats – all washed by the cerulean blue waters of the Indian Ocean. As the farthest spot on Kimberley’ s Dampier Peninsula, Broome is part of ancient rock formations. Dinosaur tracks found on the red rocks lying beneath the beach reveal the region’s true age.
