Santa Teresa is home to the famous “bonde”, the street cars of the early 20th century. The neighborhood also offers some of Rio’s most exciting cultural and artisticactivities, as well as wonderful restaurants. Itinerary: We will leave the hotel by metro and stop at the Catete subway station to get a taxi to the “Bonde” (station, where we will proceed across the Lapa Arches and up the hill to the charming neighborhood of Santa Teresa itself. Leave the “Bonde” at Largo dos Guimarães to explore the innumerous cultural houses, galleries and pick our favorite spot for a delicious lunch (not included in rate). We will descend the hill by “Bonde”, once again, to the nearest metro station to return to our hotel.
