The Ark

Located in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, the Ark resembles and is named after Noah’s Ark. It is positioned overlooking a flood lit waterhole and salt lick which attract elephants, rhinos, leopards and bushbacks among others. It has three decks with balconies and lounges which are great vantage points for game viewing. From the ground level bunker guests can take excellent pictures very close to the animals. A raised walkway from the main building provides another game viewing opportunity outdoors. Guests are accommodated in 60 ensuite cabins fitted with buzzers to announce the arrival of one of the ‘Big Five’ at the waterhole.
