Your camp is mobile and moves daily, so each night you will experience a different beautiful location with stunning surroundings. The tents are shade netting bow tents and are large enough for you to comfortably stand inside. These tents are ideal for the bush, they are insect and reptile proof, yet you can still clearly see the stars and enjoy the beautiful African sky. The food is varied and always fresh and delicious. Typically, you eat a buffet lunch and in the evening you have a sit down three-course meal under the stars or else under a big fly if it is looking rainy. You will love the experience if you like the idea of eating under the stars with candles and lanterns. Beer, wine, vodka, gin and whiskey are all complimentary. Charlie Wheeler, your guide, has been living all his life in this part of Kenya. He will be supported by a wonderful staff of Masai, Samburu, and Turkana who are all local to the areas you come through. Their collective knowledge of plant life, animal life and culture is enough to sustain a lifetime of study.
