Sleeping Warrior Camp

The Sleeping Warrior Camp is located about two and a half hours’ drive North of Nairobi in the Soysambu conservancy. Situated on a volcanic hill offering great views of the African grave breach and Lake Elementaita, the 48,000-acre conservancy lies on one of the most beautiful soda lakes of Kenya. The landscape, with its plains and acacia trees, is home to many species of mammals, including the endangered Rothschild giraffe, and several antelope species. Lake Elementaita is a paradise for birds and on its shores zebras, gazelles, eland, buffalo and warthogs graze. Once it gets dark you have the chance to see leopards, pigs and aardvarks. Soysambu, being a conservancy gives you the possibility to go on bush walks and night game drives. The Camp is also an eco-friendly privately run camp with great views of the Sleeping Warrior Volcano.
