Thakadu River Camp is set along the banks of the Marico River and is comprised of eight large and spacious tented suites, each with an en-suite bathroom and a viewing deck overlooking the Marico River. The main camp, located between the river and a small tributary, consists of an open-plan lounge, dining and reception area. There is also a swimming pool and bar area that offers views of the river to the north, and a traditional lapa. Your stay is on a full-board basis. Dinner is served in the dining room or in the boma around an open fire (weather permitting). Twice daily game drives are conducted by an experienced ranger and tracker in an open safari vehicle. Further activities are walking safaris, wildlife tracking, star-gazing and bird watching.
