Indigo is the brainchild of Chile’s acclaimed modern architect, Sebastián Irarrázaval. The rooms are distributed around a huge central void, which itself is divided by an impressive vertical curtain made of eucalyptus. A clever system of bridges, ramps, and staircases allow for an interesting circulation inside the building and access to the rooms. Inside the cozy and intimate rooms, a nice contrast from the large public areas and rough Patagonian nature is evoked to perfection.
