The Castillo Rojo Hotel ‘The Red Castle Hotel’ is located in the heart of Santiago’s Bellavista neighborhood, well known for live music, theater, fine restaurants and exciting nightlife. Originally constructed by the Lehuedé Family in 1923 as their private residence, the castle was later used as an artist’s residence and center for philosophical and creative exchange. In 2014, it was lovingly reborn as a boutique hotel, with original furniture from the home, restored fireplaces and woodwork, and light fixtures and design elements true to the style of the 1920s. Throughout its history and many incarnations, the Castillo Rojo has been an admired icon in Santiago.
