Olakira Camp is a luxury tented safari camp offering an authentic and intimate safari experience. The camp adapts to the migratory patterns, moving where the action is. From mid December to March, the camp is located in the Ndutu area to witness the magical calving season of the wildebeest in the southern Serengeti. From June to November, the camp moves to a crossing site where the Bolongonja River meets the Mara River. The eight tents are spacious, comfortable with en-suite flush toilets and safari showers. After activities, guests gather at the fire place, sundowner spots and the common dining and library tent or have a private dinner under the stars, enjoying the excellent food. The campfire and the sounds of the wildlife all around make Olakira Mara particularly charming and the camp’s size and the friendly, well trained staff create an intimate and authentic safari experience. Enjoy wonderful game driving including off road driving, bird watching, picnics and watching nature & wildlife from camp. From June to November, Olakira combines very well with Sayari Camp for a varied safari experience and during this time guests combining these two camps can experience a beautiful bush walk from Olakira to Sayari.
