Located just a 20 minute drive from Tarangire National Park, in a 25000 hectare concession area dedicated to the conservation of the Maasai community, Lake Burunge Tented Camp is well located, with lovely views over the Lake.
With only four lavishly furnished tents, Kuro Tarangire is an intimate and stylish camp offering an authentic bush experience. Chris Payne, the Nomad style guru has been hard at work on the design of the tents which offer comfort, space, and light and are designed to take full advantage of the passing breezes. The mess and dining tent is spacious, homely and funky at the same time – definitely somewhere to spend a relaxed afternoon, either inside in the library and lounge area or in the shade of a tree lying in a hammock.In addition to game drives, the camp offers the opportunity for exciting bush walks in remote areas of Tarangire. Each group of guests have their own private vehicle and experienced private guide with whom you discuss your daily activities.
