Zero Hotel is a boutique hotel located in a quiet neighborhood of Cerro Alegre, in the historic city of Valparaiso. The hotel offers views of the bay, and is within walking distance of the seashore, the colonial city center, and some of the best restaurants in the city. It is housed in a converted three-story townhouse built in 1880, that has been meticulously restored. While most of the original features have been retained, modern twists add 21st-century style to this historical structure. Rooms are comfy and inviting, with parquet floors, high ceilings, large French windows with shutters and Anglepoise lamps. Bathrooms have showers over sunken baths, marble basin-tops and Zero Hotel branded toiletries. You can relax with a book or laze in the jacuzzi located on the terrace, and request a massage, reiki or reflexology session in your room. Enjoy a drink at the Honesty Bar. The hotel does not have an on-site restaurant, but offers breakfast in its lush winter garden with panoramic views over Valparaiso.
