Kisiwa House in Zanzibar’s renowned Stone Town, is a luxurious boutique hotel. Noted for its elegant sophistication that reflects old and new worlds with its history and architecture, you can enjoy the gracious Swahili hospitality of its friendly staff. There are 10 luxurious en suite rooms and suites, each named after one of the island’s aromatic flowers. All of them are spacious and offer plush interiors and colorful textiles. Whilst the hotel is superbly located in the heart of Stone Town and within walking distance of famous landmarks, antique shops and restaurants, it’s in a quiet street so even the courtyard lounge offers you a moment of tranquility. The amazing panoramic views from the hotel’s rooftop restaurant brings the translation of the hotel’s name of kisiwa, or island, to life.

They loved the central location and the heritage building. They liked the food served by the chef, Andrew.

Fantastic staff service and when we had a medical emergency they went above and beyond in helping us. The rooftop restaurant was disorganized for dinner (so we went elsewhere) but excellent for breakfast. The breakfast was delightful.
