Damaraland Safari
Damaraland is a vast, rugged wilderness in northwestern Namibia, stretching between Etosha to the east and the Skeleton Coast to the west. Sweeping flats give way to towering inselbergs and dry river valleys dotted with Ana trees. Palmwag, a remote concession within the terrain, serves as one of the region’s most important conservation sanctuaries. It is home to a large population of desert-adapted elephants, black rhinos and lions. Oryx, springbok and giraffes also roam the open plains. The area carries deep cultural significance too.
