Trek to Ravana Falls & Caves

During this half day excursion discover scenic Ravana Falls, located around 6kms south from the road between Ella to Wellawaya. According to Hindu legend, King Ravana kidnapped Princess Sita from India and hid her in the caves behind the waterfall that now form Ravana Ella Cave. The falls are best visited during monsoon, when the water swells, creating the widest fall on the island.
