Amboseli Serena Lodge is set against the backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, surrounded by miles of rolling grasslands, patrolled by vast herds of elephant, shaded by the lush and feathered-green of an acacia grove.
Porini Amboseli Camp is a tented accommodation nestled within the exclusive Selenkay Conservancy in southern Kenya. Operating in partnership with the local Maasai community as a low-impact ecotourism initiative, the camp hosts only up to a limited number of guests per day. Wake up to birdsong in spacious safari tents that come with large private sit-outs and ensuite bathrooms and are powered by solar lighting. Enjoy the traditional canvas interiors with tasteful textile furnishings, carpets, wardrobes and safari showers. Laze about with your favorite book at the central lounge that overlooks the wilderness plains of Amboseli ecosystem highlighted by the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. From the comfort of your tent, expect to see a variety of resident and migratory wildlife, including elephants, wild cats, and myriad species of birds among others.
