El Mercado Cusco is a boutique hotel in the heart of Cusco that features original and eye-catching interiors and exceptional customer service. The hotel is built on the site of a former market located just a couple blocks from Cusco’s main Plaza de Armas. Just as a market is a kaleidoscope of a culture’s expression, El Mercado aims to create a diverse and colorful expression of Peruvian culture. The rooms are charming, cozy and boast original decor and the restaurant features fresh market ingredients and delightful Peruvian fusion cuisine. El Mercado is the perfect base for your journey into the beautiful landscapes and fascinating cultures of Peru.

Pleasant hotel, but hot water service broke down - really bad. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was pretty unimaginative.

Very nice room, very modern bathroom, spacious, very comfortable bed. The only complain i have about the room is the desk was very small and strangely adjoined the bathroom sink area. Breakfast was very nice and have very good selection as well.

neat hotel with a cool court yard -- couches and fire pits. Also, 3-5 minute walk to the center square with a ton of restaurants, stores, culture, etc.

This hotel had a lot of character, but was in a very loud part of town. Horns were honking and dogs were barking all night. The breakfast was only so-so. This was probably our least favorite hotel.
