Encounter Mara is hidden away in a forest inside the Mara Naboisho Conservancy, with each living area allowing for panoramic views over the surrounding plains and valleys. This eco-friendly camp has been built with minimal impact to the surrounding environment. The salt lick on the side of the camp is a popular source of natural minerals for a variety of animals, thus offering you a unique vantage point to see the animals at close range from the lounge. Stay in one of ten ensuite tents – including a family tent and two triple tents – each custom-designed and spacious, with their own private verandas positioned to optimize game viewing. The lounge and dining tents with reading areas and rustic lounge chairs serve as a perfect central meeting area, providing you additional space for relaxation between activities and meals. Enjoy night game drives as well as bushwalks and village visits with expert guides while at the camp.
Absolutely FANTASTIC! The most beautiful scenery, the nicest people, etc.

Loved the paradox of being back to basics (bucket showers) yet full of luxury.

Best of the 3 camps we stayed. Very spacious. Eco-friendly design with green concept. Enjoyed the bucket shower very much. More animal species and number seen than the Maasai Mara area.

Wonderful. Just need a fan or a pool as it gets very hot and it is difficult to cool oneself down. We had cold showers! The food was remarkable, 5 star. The service was even more remarkable and your/their spoiling of me for my birthday was a truly memorable highlight Wonderful.
