Sand Rivers Selous is set in the heart of the Selous away from other camps on a wide curve of the Rufifji River, with a view that could not be more breathtaking. The camp has been crafted from local wood, stone and thatch and offers extensive game viewing due to its diverse ecosystem. Guests will feel at home at the large and comfortable lounge and swimming pool with wide views of the river. The main camp consists of eight spacious open-fronted cottages (5 Standard Rooms and 3 Suites) on stilts blending comfort with the natural beauty of the surroundings. In addition, Kiba Point, the smaller sister camp which is a couple of minutes downriver by boat, offers four similarly open fronted cottages with their own lounge and swimming pool and is ideal for small groups of friends of families who value utmost privacy. Private adventures at Sand Rivers Selous vary from boating on the Rufiji, weaving past hippos and crocodiles, driving on the trail of lion or wild dog to sleeping out under the stars and fishing in solitude, barefoot on a river rock.
