Kerio Valley

Feast your eyes on spectacular sunsets! Kerio Valley, on the Eastern arm of the Great Rift Valley in Kenya, has vegetation ranging from semi-tropical to dry thorn bushes! Bordered by the Kerio river on the east and the Cherang’ani Hills to the west, the region is a national reserve because of its bio-diversity. The volcanic blocks in this land of deserts, plateaus and forests, add to the breathtaking scenery. See the local Keiyo tribes who settled here hundreds of years ago. The area is also perfect if you want to go cycling and paragliding, or even take a leisurely stroll.
