Fish River Canyon Tours

Nambia’s greatest natural wonder! Whilst smaller than America’s Grand Canyon, at 160 kms long and up to 550 m deep, the Fish River Canyon is still comparable and the world’s second largest canyon. The exposed bottom strata is considered almost a billion years old. The Fish River itself is around 650 kms, rising from the easter Naulkuft Mountains, flowing through the rugged Koubis massif, before flowing southwest of Ai-Ai into the Oranje. In winter, during the dry season, sometimes the river dries up but by the summer rains it often becomes a fast-paced torrent!
