Mount Bromo in Java is a fabulous volcano with views! Located in Eastern Java and part of the Tengger massif, it enjoys pride of place within the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. Its name, Bromo, is derived from the Javanese pronunciation of Brahma, the Hindu God of creation.
