Meet the Enchanting Travels Team

With aspirations of bringing alive the joy of customized travel and building a truly inspiring place to work, Parik founded Enchanting Travels with Alex, in 2004. He has a finance degree from Ohio State University, USA, and MBA from INSEAD, France and Singapore. As CEO, he leads Enchanting Travels from the front, defining our goals and directing the vision.

Before joining INSEAD, where he completed his MBA with distinction and met future business partner Parik Laxminarayan, Alex worked as a project leader in marketing and sales at the Monitor Group. His aim in founding Enchanting Travels was to make rich culture and heritage accessible to travelers in a hassle free and enchanting way.

Working at the Monitor Group for over eight years, Florian gained a wealth of experience in a range of emerging markets and spent three years working on strategy projects in Africa. During this time, he discovered his true passion of exploring and helping others experience hidden facets of our world while making a positive impact through travel.

A seasoned marketing executive with over 20 years of experience, Melanie brings brand building and digital expertise to Enchanting Travels. Previously, she led marketing at the luxury hospitality brand, Inspirato, and spent many years within advertising agencies like Ogilvy leading digital marketing initiatives. She is passionate about storytelling and architecting marketing strategies that move markets and inspire engagement.

With over 15 years of sales leadership experience, Kelly brings a strong passion for people development and fostering a high-performance sales culture. She has successfully scaled sales organizations to over 100 team members and is a dedicated advocate of servant leadership. Having spent much of her career in the hospitality industry, Kelly is thrilled to be part of Enchanting Travels, where her love for travel and hospitality seamlessly align. Originally from Iowa, she earned both her undergraduate and master’s degrees from Iowa State University. After spending seven years in Chicago, Kelly has called Denver, Colorado, home for the past nine years. At home, Kelly stays busy with her “home team,” raising three young children with her partner. She also has two loyal “administrative assistants”—a Golden Retriever and a Silver Labrador. In her free time, Kelly enjoys hiking in the mountains and traveling as often as possible.

Originally from Germany, Karin is a passionate traveler who has lived in the USA, Mexico and China. She has over a decade of diverse experience in international product management and marketing in the consumer goods industry, in businesses like S.Oliver and L’Oréal. At Enchanting Travels, she enjoys combining her passion for travel with her professional career.

Griselda graduated from Barcelona University with a Bachelor´s in German Language & Literature, and she has since lived in several countries across Europe, Asia, and South America teaching German and Spanish. Her love for travel and new experiences brought her to Enchanting Travels, where she manages the Trip Execution team.

As a People Director with a generalist HR background, Hannah has led diverse teams across HR Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development. She is passionate about recognizing and unlocking the potential in people — and using that potential to continuously raise the bar on individual, team, and business performance.

After graduating from UPenn’s Wharton School, Devika worked and lived in New York, Buenos Aires, and Chiang Mai before joining Enchanting Travels, where she has won many hats over the years. Now based out of Guatemala, she enjoys sharing her passion for travel with guests and helping us build and perfect technology to support their dream vacations.

Shruthi has a BCom degree from McGill University and an MBA in Finance and Operations Management from Schulich School of Business – York University, UK. She has spent more than a decade working in Canada and the UK. She brings her in-depth experience in financial planning, financial analysis and strategic control to her role as Financial Director.
