Remote Memba Bay and the stunning Baixo do Pinda Peninsula offer miles of pristine tropical beaches backed by sub tropical bush with baobab trees. Farming and fishing villages are dotted around whilst, offshore, there are as yet un-dived reefs and shipwrecks underneath the sea. Whales migrate through the area from July to September and dolphins are frequently seen. This is the only place on the East African coast that offers excellent diving directly from the beach. In addition to fantastic snorkelling and diving, enjoy kayaking, sailing, sundowner cruises with a traditional dhow, or explore the local villages by foot or bike and get a glimpse of authentic daily life.
Nuarro opened in July 2009 and is an exclusive lodge right on the turquoise Indian Ocean in northern Mozambique. Lonely, long sandy beaches, a pristine and diverse nature - it is just the right place when you want to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind.
All non-motorised activities like fishing, sunset dhow cruise, windsurfing, use of snorkelling gear, canoeing and other non-motorized activity equipment, guided tour of Ilha de Mozambique per stay, dedicated Mozambican host service
