Piggs Peak is a town in north-western Swaziland. It was founded around gold prospecting in 1884, but its main industry is now forestry. The Phophonyane Falls lie near the town. The road from Piggs Peak heading south in the direction of Mbabane is one of the most scenic in the whole country, making it an excellent self-drive destination from which to take ones time and enjoy the rolling hills, sparking streams, spectacular waterfalls and beautiful scenery. Piggs Peak is an ideal stop-over either to or from the world’s famous Kruger National Park.
